Whenever DH tells me off for letting it get so messy! I'm a bottled water drinker so it's not uncommon for me to have a bin bag full of empties at any given moment. I'd live like a pig if it weren't for DH telling me off every now and then

But I still maintain it by not leaving anything in the car. All toys and rubbish get taken out after each trip. My car is never messy, but once a week DF will vacuum it and wipe the surfaces and wash the windows, as well as wash the outside too.

I don't leave stuff in there for it to get messy! After each trip the kids have to bring in any toys, school bags etc, I put rubbish in the bin, I try not to let them eat in there but on a 2.5 hr trip to the city it's hard!

We vacuum it out every few weeks, I take it through the car wash about the same - although in summer we might wash it on backyard however the kids are more likely to scratch the paint then do a good job washing!!!

I try and clean it out weekly and vacuum fortnightly. Doesn't always happen that often though....
