Default How often do you clean out your car interior?

Spin off from the cleaning toilet thread!

My car interior seems to be always a disaster area, its like a mobile version of hoarders!!

No matter how often i clean it out,it seems to fill up full of stuff straight away.

Its not just rubbish, theres piles of clothes, shoes, toys, lunch boxes, drink bottles, books etc you name it, it probably can be found in my car.

Please tell me i am not alone!

Lol I'm sure you're not alone

I try very hard to empty the car completely whenever we get home ie rubbish put straight in the bin and all clothes brought inside. If I don't do that then yeah, the interior gets very gross very quickly.

baby4us you car sounds like mine. I had a chuckle at "mobile verious of hoarders" because that describes my car 100%. It is terrible. At the moment not so bad. I had a scare with a gigantic huntsman crawling out of the rubble from the front seat while I was driving the other day, got home, DP said "i'm not surprised" and cleaned it out for me. Have been trying VERY hard to keep it clean now. It makes me sad sometimes because I have a nice car and it always has so much crap in it. I have made a decision to clean it once a week, lets see how long that lasts.

Sounds exactly like my car lol. I can't see the floors at all lol. The closest it came to me cleaning it was when I had to take it in to haves lock fixed. I grabbed the rubbish out and that was it lol.

Depends on what you mean by clean. Take out the "stuff"? Clothes and food come out straight away but random toys and other stuff about once a week. Vacuum & polish clean? Not often enough. Maybe once every couple of months.

Mine is a nightmare. We moved house recently and used our car to do a lot of moving and some bits that I couldn't be bothered carrying up the stairs are still there. There's a 20 pack of Christmas decorations in it, for example.

I might clean it out today, actually.
