Default If you were overweight already when falling pregnant...

How much did you gain throughout your pregnancy? And what was your appetite like?

I gained 22kg with the girls which i guess isn't too bad for twins considering I ate like a horse and was on bed rest from 23 weeks.
I lost a stack of weight but was sick last year with my PCOS and Endo and put on 16kg So when falling pregnant this time I was 86kg. Would love to stay under 90kg but that's probably not realistic.
At pre-pregnancy weight now at 18+1 but only because of MS.

Just want to hear from others

Hey, i'm subbing to hear responses but thought i'd let you know I have PCOS too. I'm 11 + 3 today and my pre pregnancy weight was 83, i'm about 81 now. I've lost my appetite and had MS. I had my maternity booking last night and the suggested range based on BMI is a total gain of 5-9 kilos! Hoping to stick to that but worried i'll go way over when/if i get my appetite back and get rid of this sickness.

I've gained 6 kilos so far, pretty slowly and steadily too. I was hoping to keep it to 8 kilos all up, but I don't think that is going to be possible now I've already gained 6 of it

My doctors are still fine with my weight gain though, so I'm not worried about it and am just trying to eat healthily and get a bit of exercise every day

I put on 27kg with my DS! I was working in an office on my bum all day and eating heaps.

This time I started off 10kg heavier at 102kg. I'm 32+3 and have gained 9kg so far. I'm eating heaps this pregnancy but have a 2yr old to run after. That's the only reason I can think of how I've gained less so far this time round.

Oh wow, 17 kilo loss! My BSL has been all over the place but I've had my GTT and it was fine so I'm going to stick to a Gestational Diabetes diet anyway because it's making me feel better and not so fatigued. It's low GI too which is great for PCOS sufferers.

9 kilos is a great gain felicia! I just know how long it took to lose the 28 kilos I lost and how hard it was so I'm not looking forward to that again.

I'm having bub in a week and have so far gained 6kg. Have eaten so much sweet food (craved anything and everything sweet the whole pregnancy) I have no idea how I haven't gained any more! Thinking maybe my active soon to be 2 DS helped lol
