    Default Forgot how to purée baby food

    Here I am steaming carrots, but I forgot how to purée! It still comes lumpy from the Barmix

    I think I got it...push though a sieve with a spoon?

    Carrot is a bit like that. I can get it smooth in my food processor, but I don't like getting it dirty just to purée carrot so I just use my Bamix. They get used to lumps pretty quickly so it's not a problem for long. Maybe try adding more water, that should at least help a little.

    Thanks! Ds1 took awhile to adjust to lumps, plus I was paranoid. Maybe this time around i'll be more confident!

    Not everybody is interested in baby led weaning

    You can always add a little bit of water from the pot to help make it a bit smoother

    I used to add a little apple puree to add some moisture to help it mix smooth better
