    Default What colours?

So we are looking at painting our whole house and the more I think about what colours I want the more confused I become. So what colours are on the walls throughout your house, I need a distraction

We have old ivory (a very faded yellow/cream) on the walls and then the ceiling and cornices are white. I love it. We have a lot of artwork so it doesn't look boring. Even when the artwork isn't up it looks gorgeous (I think!!) with the polished wooden floor boards and high ceilings

My old house has a grey-blue colour in the living room, it's called "Miller Mood" by Dulux. It's gorgeous.

We're building a house, and it's about to be painted next week!

The internal colours are variants of White Duck by Dulux (White Duck Quarter, White Duck Whole) for doors, skirting boards and architraves, and White on White for the walls. Our external paint is Natural White.

Can you tell we like white? It probably sounds really boring, but there are SO many different whites!

If you are thinking about white Dulux has a good chart on its website that shows how each white throws - so what ones have blue bases, yellow bases etc.

We have Peplum white at the moment. It throws mauve. We're not leaving it all white though. I just need to decide what I want to do to all of the walls!

We have white walls with a brown feature in the bedroom, hall and living area.

In our new house we are going with a cream/very light brown throughout with random features of a darker brown.

We have pearl grey colour walls - its a very light grey, gives the rooms a bit more warmth than white.

We have a glossy version for skirting, architraves and doors, cornice and ceiling are ceiling white.

It's such a great colour 3 friends have since used the same colour when they built their homes!!

I'm personally not a fan of feature walls, I prefer to use artwork and photographs to break up walls

    Thanks for your responses

I went and bought some dulux antique white USA so I could set with yntoilets and bathrooms. Still haven't decided on colours but it's a start. Making decisions is very difficult for me
