    Beds are EXPENSIVE!!

DD1 went into her big bed (KS) on Sunday at 28.5 months! The rail has been off her cot for 3 months and we've had no problems so far - she LOVES it. We also took the dummy off her on Sunday and we've had NO problems, so proud of her (we've literally had maybe 30 seconds of tears)! I think the timing has been perfect for her for both 'big' bed and dummy!

Expensive? Bed frames are actually very cheap at vinnies etc.. Mattresses on the other hand yes, to get a decent one can be quite pricy

DS at 18 months - we needed the cot for baby no2. No problems.

DD at 20 months because she asked for it. No problems.

It certainly wasnt the big deal I had worked it up to be..... maybe I had spent to many hours on google "preparing" for the event.
