Wow thanks for the latest replies!!!! No I don't really mind where we go- want to do the usual things, under water world, oz zoo etc... I've been looking at forest glen big 4 in a cabin. Anyone stayed there???

Make sure you have lunch at Wharf Tavern at Mooloolaba. It is at the same complex as Underwater World.

Just a note that the main (and most fun part) under water tunnel is closed until the end of the year at underwater world. Tickets are cheaper though while they complete the work.

P. S I will always recommend Caloundra to stay. Lots of beaches and places to eat... Not to mention the awesome 2nd hand book stores in the main street!

I went to underwater would and although it was only she and I bestowed had gone recently. With her little family andsaid the same:

The tanks don't look well kept. It is fairly hard to see the fish in most of the tanks. Only thing we enjoyed was the seal show.

As for where to stay... I normally go to friends or relative's places. I did once go to a services apartment that was nice it ended up being far time those I went to see.

100 percent it is. We have a yearly pass which we purchased last year and have been a few times over last few months. I think it's scheduled to be complete before end of year holidays, will be worth the wait I think as it did need an upgrade.

A few of my mum friends have stayed at The Beachcomber on the Spit - Mooloolaba. They loved it. Ground floor has your own fenced courtyard/yard and you can walk straight out onto the beach.

I want to go there next year
