My waters broke at 5am after having contractions since midnight. Laying in bed, had a contraction and instantly felt a gush! Jumped up and ran to the loo & it was everywhere! Scared poor dh when i just ran out of the room. Time to go to hospital then (with a towel between my legs). DD wasnt born til late that night.

Was in hospital, midwife broke them so they could attach monitor to DD's head. I was about 7-8cm at that point & it came out as a gush.
