    What's the Codeine level?
I take regular Mersydol during this pregnancy, doctor and hospital all said it's class 'A' which is regarded as safe.
I've actually never heard of Mersydonl forte.. guessing it's over 10 mg of Codeine? I've known people who have needed to take Panadeine Fort during pregnancy and that level of Codeine is 30mg I think.
But, you need to ask your doctor or even the Chemist can tell you. if you can't see your doc.

you can also give the chemist a call pharmists are required to know grades of medicines and they should be able to tell you over the phone if you cant get out of the house

I think the part of the concern with codeine is that it can make you constipated which is already an issue during pregnancy.

I've been told its safe STD by my hospital doctor and actually just got some today.

I up my water intake and eat sultanas because I don't like prunes and constipation is any extra worry then usual.
