    Default Maxi-Cosi Australia

    Hi all,

We purchased a pram in the UK with adaptors for a Maxi Cosi capsule but am struggling to find locations that stock this brand in Australia. I wondered if anyone out there knew if the Maxi Cosi capsules (ideally the pebble) are legal in Australia and if so where they can be purchased.

    Many thanks

    Lise

    Hi Lise,
I'm not sure about purchasing a capsule but I know you can hire them as this is what I'm doing
Saved myself some cash by hiring, seemed worthwhile as they can only be used for the first 6mths
    Here's a link to the website -

But I guess if you can hire them, you must be able to buy them somewhere???

I bought the maxi cosi Titan earlier this year from bubs baby store in Brisbane. I think the mico is the old one and the Titan complies with the new Aus safety standards. My Titan is pebble.

It fits onto my pram with the generic maxi cosi adapters. I think pram warehouse and bubs n grubs in Brisbane also sell them. All of them have online stores. Mothercare sell them too.

    Hope that helps.

I have a maxi cosi that was given to me, its not the ISOFIX one its the old style one.

I was told that they have stopt producing the old style one now that Australian standards have changed, but I am sure they would be replacing/selling the ISOFIX.

It is a hugely popular brand in OZ so you should definately be able to get one.

Hi all thanks so much for your replies I really appreciate it. I will have a look at the websites and definitely look at hiring as that skids like a good option. Thanks again Lise
