    Default Pregnancy Tests.com.au-ovulation tests

    Hi all,

I'm new here. We have just started TTC. This is the second month. For this month I bought some ovulation tests from pregnancytest.com.au. The sticks you dip in your wee. Im sure I've covered my fertile window well and good-but no positive ovulation result.
I'm sure I've ovulated already- judging by other signs (cm, side pain).

Has anyone used these particular tests and had any luck getting a positive result?

I haven't used them ones, but I use a similar cheap brand one from the Internet. When you say you didn't get a positive, did you mean there was no trace of a second line at all? Cause everyone I did had a faint second line, then I considered it positive when the test line got darker (but not as dark as the control line) for a day, then went back to light again. These were fertility first brand.

I also have only used fertility first OPK's. Initially I was using them with FMU...until I realised you are supposed to test later in the day with OPK's. I started testing in the early afternoon but didn't O until cd22, and got a clear temp rise on the days following, indicating that the OPK really was positive.
My advice would be- test mid afternoon or even twice a day if you have heaps of tests.
    Are you temping?
    Good luck with it all

Good luck in your ttc journey

I don't like being skeptical ( as we were all newbies on here once) however its a bit sus to me as its the op first and only post and it's advertising a website.

They are pretty well saying the sticks don't work, so not the greatest advertising. I wouldn't rush out and buy from their website.

But yeah it does seem a little suss

Here a link to another forum post wher I have attached pics of my positive OPK. I can't remember if I got them from that site but would similar type - stick you dip in wee.

Bloods confirmed ovulation and so did pregnancy.

Thanks for all your help ladies.
Would you believe tonight I got a positive on the OPK.
Just a bit of time and perseverance.

One thing I did learn is that ovulation happened late this cycle- it's going to take a while to get used to tracking I think. Spent so many years not needing to pay any attention to my cycle.

If no luck TTC this month round- I will buy a better range if OPK- guessing no one has heard of the brand I used- that can't be a good thing.

    Thx again

@nat84- it took me so long to figure out how faint the line should be to be a negative if that makes sense. But when I got the positive result- the test line was darker than the control- so I knew for sure.

@kyleo- I haven't tried temping. Just started out tracking by the opk - if no luck this month will combine the two next month
