We use finish liquid. It works well and it never leaves any undissolved in the capartment like you sometimes do with powder

When we had our last dishwasher repaired, the guy said to only use finish brand. He also said he preferred the powder, and to use about half the recommended dosage.
He almost was apoplectic when he saw I had recently started using morning fresh. He HATED that brand...

Finish powder. I tried the Aldi stuff and it didn't get the dishes clean. I don't use the tablets though as we have a fisher and pakyel (sp??) 2 drawer dishwasher. I use the finish or morning fresh rinse aid.

I use fairy platinum - it has the rinse aid part added into the tablet. Love it!

    Another fairy here.

I use to use finish but now love fairy. I was a Tupperware demonstrator (Tupperware owns fairy - hence the "recommended by Tupperware" ) but all in all I really do love the finish it does

Good to know. I have seen the method tabs in my local IGA but I don't want to buy them and get them home and find they are cr@p and that I have wasted my money. I have used a couple of other method products and found them good.

FITB - Can I ask, how do your dishes go into the dishwasher- just scraped clean or rinsed?

I break mine in half...still cleans well - we have a double dishdrawer - so not sure if that makes a difference, just pop it in - if it lands in teh cutlery basket then great, most of the time it doesn't

My dishes go in scraped...I thought that was one of the pros with dishwashers?
The only things I rinse are bowls or baking dishes that i've soaked to loosen scrambled egg or baked on chees etc

I use Finish powder and rinse aid but I thought I couldn't use tablets in my machine. Having read this prompted me to read the manual and I can so I might change to tablets now.

Only bowls I rinse before putting in are porridge bowls, they seem to not wash properly unless I rinse them.
