I've had both my boys there under Penny Isherwood.

I had two vaginal births with minimal intervention & a little gas at the end for pain relief.

    Midwives were generally all lovely.

The only real issue I would say is the lack of support for early discharge. I went home less than 24 hours after delivery and they weren't too impressed. There are no home visits or breastfeeding support like the public system.

I have heard they have a fairly high rate of c-sections. In fact when I turned up in hard labour the receptionist tried to direct me to theatre as a standard response before she looked at me and realized I was headed straight to the labour ward not theatre.

If you have any specific questions let me know!
