Youare invited to participate in a research study evaluating abrief, non-invasive guided relaxation exercise for use during pregnancy. Theexercisedraws on the principal of mindfulness, the capacity to remain aware ofpresent-moment experience.
During pregnancy, we’ll invite you to complete some questionnairesabout your mood and experiences ofpregnancy. Some mothers may also be asked to listen toa 10-minute, recorded relaxation exercise for a period of 4 weeks, or until thebirth of baby. Wewill provide a CD with full instructions to guide you through the procedure.
After your baby is born, we will invite you to completesome further questionnaires about your relationship with your baby and yourbaby’sbehaviour.As a token of our appreciation for yourparticipation in this study, we will reimburse you for your time with a giftvoucher.Formore information, please contact our studyadministrator …
