Cravings suck... I used to crave V and slurpees from the servo. I'd replace it with apple juice or I'd make freshly squeezed orange juice, put the juice in a blender, add strawberries, blueberries and vanilla sugar.. It's not the same but it's nice and healthy : )

I drank V in my last trimester with my second. Although if I had BP issues I would've stayed far away from it. I had perfect BP through both pregnancies.

By that stage their organs are all formed and they are mostly just filling out.

I love V as well... mmmm. I haven't drank any energy drink at all during this pregnacy either, except for 1 cup coffee or tea or sometimes Coke a day.
Two days ago, DH had a can of 'Mother' and he said try this, just a teeny sip (he was raving about how yummy it was, don't know if it's a new flavour but it's called something like 'Orange Surge') so I had a tiny sip and it was so delicious!! Tasted like Fruit Tingles but BETTER! I made him swear that he will bring me a can of it to the hospital after baby is born, lol.. not that I'd get through an entire can, (they are huge & I'd prob have a heart attack!) but I can at least enjoy a few guilt free gulps!

I'm going to go against the grain here... The recommended limit for caffeine intake during pregnancy is what, 200mg? And an energy drink contains around 80mg.

Go for it, I say! In fact, have 2.5

Its actually not just the caffiene thats the issue....its all the other garbage that goes in it like sugar, taurine, etc.

Sure one wont hurt but I wouldnt go crazy on it. Just sayin'...

Energy drinks are baaaaadddd!! I'm not worried about caffeine, it's the other stuff that makes it awful.

I too craved energy drinks whilst pregnant. Whenever DF had one i'd have a sip or two then sit sniffing the can pitifully until he finished it lol!
A little bit should be ok

I must admit I was bad during my pregnancy. Had a few Red Bulls, but nothing bad seemed to happen. I consider it as 'bad' as coffee, unless you drink coffee without sugar.

I think red bull tastes like wizz fizz so maybe one of those would help the craving?
