    the best way to find out how many there are is to estimate?

    This to me this is the trick aspect. It is asking what the best way is. It isnt actually asking how many there are, or how many you think there is. The actual number seems irrelevant. So to me, the best way of finding out how many there are is to estimate.

    It is gonna drive so many people nuts till the teacher lets everyone in on the secret.
