    Ok, I have the answer!! But it's a straight forward logical answer, not some awesome trick-of-the-mind answer that I was hoping!

    Wait until dusk when all the frogs jump out of the pond and then count them.

    That's it!! All that waiting for that!!

    AND the teacher has a whole book of them! It's a Mensa book too, my poor brain!

    Another of her favourites-

    A man and his wife stop their car by the side of the road so he can go for help. He tells his wife to lock the doors from the inside, and keep them locked. When he returns, he finds 2 strangers in the car with his wife. However she has never unlocked the doors. Who are the 2 strangers and how did they get in the car?

    Are the 2 strangers his babies ? They would be strangers as she must have given birth while he was away from the car.

    I think the real answer is some people have way too much time on their hands to spend days on end pondering over year 4 homework

    Really though I'm cringing the day either of my DSs bring home this sorta shiz!
