    I stayed 7 as my son was also getting discharged from nicu day 7. Silly us being apart for one night

    Depends which hospital also I think. I think the norm for private is 6 days. Not sure on public.

    5-6 days with both c sections.. i didn't mind it tho. gave me a chance to get some zzz's.

    Mine was a 3 day stay.... public hospital. Don't think l would have wanted to stay any longer.

    Mine has to be private, i dont have medicare yet. So i seem to get to choose depending on the situation, if all is fine anything up to 6 days...that is a long time...wil take all the tech i can with me then. I may have pain issues as after my 2 nd, i thought i was going to die from pain, either it was the post expression cramps on my infected and cut uterus or the meds just did not take 2 nd time around. Realy hope it is a breeze this time

    7 days for my first, 6 days for my second and im guessing it will be 6 days again this time too. My private hospital i go to is lovely, it's like a hotel!

    I'm in WA, private hosp. My ob said average is 6 days.
    My hosp is really nice, the rooms, food and staff are nice. DH will be staying some of the nights as well.
