I started leaving a bowl of grapes/apple/biscuits at his height all day so that if he got hungry, he could eat.
He loved it. I think it was an independence thing, he just didn't want to be trapped in his chair.
He has been on finger foods for months now and still isn't interested in a spoon either.
Have you tried giving him some new foods? Like things he hasn't tried before?
That sounds like a good idea with the bowl we might try that. At least then its not like were making him eat its there if he wants it.
