    How long did you wait after a d&c to DTD?

    I think my doc advised me to wait until the bleeding stops.

    I think the norm is 6 weeks or after the bleeding stops, which ever is longest.

    I was told 6 weeks and and for for my emotional health I waited a bit as well.

    My doc said after bleeding stops. I bled for a week and dtd the week after, when we were comfortable.

    I bled on the day of the D&C and spotted for about 3 days after. We DTD 5 days after my D&C because one, we wanted to fall pregnant straight away and two, we were both so devastated that I think we really needed the closeness that DTD can bring.

    My Ob has written instructions that no DTD for 2 weeks, same with baths and swimming. Due to risk of infection. At this point I am still bleeding (D & C 6 days ago) but as soon as it stops.....
