Default Child support private agreement and family assistance

Not sure if anyone can help. My husband has a private agreement with his ex in new Zealand plus its stated in their private agreement he will pay all flights for her to visit us. That's four flights a year. This is a financial cost not just part of the agreement. When we state what he pays for child support in our estimate do we give the amount he pays her or are we allowed to include the costs of the flights too??

I think you'd have to ask CSA to be honest.

I wouldn't consider it child support TBH - it's not assisting with the financial cost of raising a child iykwim. My XDP sometimes picks up DS from my house, I wouldn't consider the petrol helping me with the financial brunt of raising DS.

I've just read on the CSA website it is classed as a third party payment and if agreed by both parents it can be classed as child support. Since his ex agreed on it and we pay all travel costs instead of it being split we can claim on it. I will check when I get through to someone though

They will have to call her to verify she agrees to it being claimed as child support.

Can I ask - is he from NZ? As in, he was with this woman and had the child then he moved here? Or did she move there?
