Default What did you do to bring on labour??

Any ideas on what others did to bring on labour? And what works? I know a lot of ppl say baby will come when he/she is ready but I'm so impatient and want to try something that may very well work just over 2 weeks to go, any ideas??

Went for a big 4km walk the previous arvo, I was so fidgety DP made me get out of the house! 500m from the car I felt her drop... Contractions started at 4am the next day and we had our little girl at 1453, 9 days early

I walked... alot. Tried to stay very active towards the end. Mowed the lawn one day but it didn't work. LOL I was 4 days overdue, had sex the night before I went into labour, not sure if it helped but at that point I was so impatient I would try anything.

I kept busy, stayed upright and did lots of housework, to encourage DS to stay in position. Sex and a curry at 38 weeks, and then at 38+1 I had a long bath and a chat to DS to let him know that we were ready if he was. DS was born at 38+3. I think they do come when they're ready but if you think or know that your bub is in a good position for birth there's no harm in encouraging things along.

I have been pretty much cooking curries for the last week, although my 6 yr old has been complaining that dinner is too spicy lol I try explain that I'm trying to get baby out...so she eats it lol and yes tried sex too, Raspberry leaf tea just trying to think of what else. Maybe I should be going on big walks... I just get worried about needing to go to the loo every 5 mins...

I'm due today and have been trying everything for the past week. Like walking a lot (walked around Ikea and Westfield yesterday alone), raspberry leaf tea and sex.
Absolutely no signs if her impending arrival. Just getting really impatient now.

Aww I feel for you, fingers crossed something happens soon. You must be very over it. Ikea is huge and o so awesome. You'd think that should hurry bubs along

I did the 'gutter walk' with DS, I walked with one foot on the top part of the gutter and the other foot in the gutter in a bobbing up and down motion.... LOL 4 blocks, one on one side then change sides after every block....... my waters broke an hour later
I was also drinking raspberry leaf tea
    Goodluck
