    Default Preschool question

Just wondering, how many days does your 3yo go to preschool and how long are the preschool days? Here they are from 9-3. I have to let the daycare/preschool know soon how many days I want DS in preschool.
I'm worried that too many days are going to cost too much for me.....

Preschool here is attached to school (NT). They go from 800-1100 for half the year then 1130-230 the other half of the year (the groups swap). They go Mon-Thurs. Its free.
I forgot to mention the 3yo have to turn 4 by June (i think) if not they can start during the second half of the year after their bday, but they still have to do a full year. They cant have a Bday in September, do 3mths of preschool then move to prep, they have to do a full year (though its not compulsory to go to preschool)

DS1 was 3 when he started at the beginning of the year, he turned 4 at the end of April. He starts Prep (called Transition here) at the beginning of next year as a 4yo, almost 5yo.

    9-3pm here too.

At our preschool the 3yos go for two days and the 4yos go for three days.

9-3 here. You choose either 2 or 3 days. I prefer 3yo to go for 2 days and 4yo to go for 3 days.

3yo DD goes to a long daycare preschool and goes from 7:30-4:30 three days a week when I'm at work. Currently I'm at home with DS and she goes anywhere between 8-9am depending on how quickly we get organised/appointments etc and I pick her up between 3:30-4:30.

Yes DS goes to a local ABC center (Think its called Goodstart Early Learning these days), which is long daycare and also pre-school.
You can't have both. You can't drop them off at 9am and at 3pm they put him into daycare. He needs to be collected at 3pm, like it or not.

I teach Kindy in WA. They are kids who turn 4 up until June or 5 from July - Dec. They go two days one week 9-3 and three days the next week 9 -3.

    Pre-Primary is full time 9-3, 5 days a week.
