    Default Happy B'day Me :(

ARRRGGHHH!!! I was going to have a nice lnch with my parents for my birthday today. I haven't really celebrated my birthday for a few years, but seeing as I am double digits (and DS is mad about cake and blowing out candles), I would have a nice lunch somewhere with my oldies.
I was looking forward to it, but.......
Last night DS woke at 2am and since then I have been crook. Cold sweaty palms and feet, low bloodpressure, hot and cold, stomach pain, the runs, etc.
I'm so disappointed as there wont be a chance for lunch with them, for some time.
Instead of lunch, my father drove up (1 hour drive) and took DS to the park so I could have a rest. Still felt crook for the rest of the day

Just had to get it out of my system. Life can sometimes give you such bad lemons, that no matter how hard you try, you can not make lemonade out of them

    Vent over! Upto 34 now

    Awwww happy birthday.

Sucks being sick on your birthday. Hope you managed to rest when DS was at the park and not do other things like clean the house.

Thanks ladies. I got the added bonus of DS not being able to go to sleep without snuggles with mummy in her bed. So yeah, I was looking forward to being able to have my bed to myself so I can roll from the warm side to the cool side and back again (seeing as I am hot one moment and cold the next), but those cuddles were of good quality too even though I was sweating my bum off lol.
It was a nice way to close off a rotten day
