    Default Allergy testing in Sydney

We need to get DS allergy tested. The waiting list at SCH is over 12 months!!! WTF!

Can anyone reccomend a private allergy clinc, Im guessing it will be expensive.

    Thanks

We went to Dr Alexander Lozynsky at the Sydney Allergy and Immunology Centre at The Ashley Centre in Westmead. The nurses were very good while they were testing DS (both 18 ish and 36ish months) and the Dr was very clear when explaining the results. From memory we were bulk billed, Im not sure if that is because of my health care card status or not and his wait was about 6 months initially and then not even a month the second time.

Hi, apologies as I'm on my phone and got no idea how to do links.

Google 'the Children's Clinic" Woolahra. Fabulous place with a bunch of really nice drs.

Or google dr Marlene Soma in the Edgcliff centre. She's an ENT and works with an immunologist.

Both places I can recommend. Both will give costs over the phone. The children's clinic are linked up to medicare and will do your rebate straight away.

    Best wishes.

Dr Sheryl Van Nunen at Chatswood. Also works at the allergy outpatient clinic at RNSH, so all DD's follow-up skin prick tests have been free.
