My name is Annalisa Nevill and I am a production assistant working on the short film 'Act's of God'. We are currently in the stages very close to production and are looking for some families to be able to act as extras in a main evacuation scene which is very important scene to film. This film is being produced by 'Yonnie Piffen' http://www.yonniepiffen.com/ and 'A.K.A Nancy Vaudeville' http://nancyvaudeville.tv/.
We are currently looking for family extras of all kinds of ethnicity and ages to fill these roles in the evacuation scene the film. We would love to be able to talk to as many people as possible, especially for the evacuation and street scenes we need many families and actors.
Shooting will be on Monday the 9th of July from 5:00pm onwards and this will only take a few hours of your time. The location of the shoot is in Cranbourne, Melbourne. If you are interested please contact me directly and I would be more than happy to provide further details.
Here is a brief outline of the scene we required families for: The evacuation scene entails the aftermath of the bushfire disaster street scene. All the families and members of the surrounding area come together for shelter and food inside the Gymnasium hall. People and families of all ages and ethnicity are there. There are mattresses, sleeping bags, bottles of water, babies crying, pets in cages, preserved food, first aid kits scattered around the gymnasium. Families huddle together for warmth underneath blankets. Joan and her family are handing out food and water to survivors of the bushfire. Policemen and red cross volunteers are helping to control the crowd and to hand out provisions.
