    Default Royal Brisbane Hospital

quick question, as I have never been public with birthing before, even if i end up with a caeserian - do I need to pay anything at all? Just wondering upfront, as in my previous births i didn't dilate and had to have c-sections in the end, but that was with private.. so im not sure how the public system works entirely. thanks.

yes, definately have medicare! cos hubby was asking if we pay for the anethetist? I told him i didn't think so.. amazing really, when we went private, you pay so much out of pocket it's mind numbing.

Went public with both DDs and now this one and have never had to pay a cent for any of it. Top class care provided under Medicare. It's fantastic in Bris the level of care we get as public patients.
