Labor/baby signs or just normal?

I had the pains and similar pinky discharge for about a week before I had DD - she was 8 days early. My bloody show was different to the pink d/c, it was a lot more red & there was a lot of it.. I had that the 2-3 days prior. Good luck!

I had prelabour for 3 weeks before I had DD. Lots of signs of imminent labour, but it just continued. I even had a stretch and sweep at 38 weeks (didnt do anything productive) and another at 39 weeks, I had her 24 hours later.

It did my head in thinking I would go into full labour any minute for all that time, it was quite exhausting all that anticipation! So although you could be close, you could also be weeks away. Hang in there

Just to clarify, that was my second baby and the stretch and sweep was performed because I was 50% effaced and 2cm dilated by 38 weeks, along with hours of regular contractions that would die off, most days. I also was experiencing loose bowel movements, increased discharge (OB said I had "profuse greenish mucous" (aka the plug) and it can come away for weeks. Your bloody show is something different and mine was very bloody and thick and only came an hour before she was born.

So just an update.

So far still have BH and the discharge (thick and red/brown) but not much else happening.
Please little man I'm begging!! Hurry up!!!!! Lol I'm getting impatient!!
