Default Introducing Solids and Allergy Concerns

    Hi All,

I am by no means an expert (in fact the exact opposite!!), however being a Mum of a bub with allergies, and a number of allergies myself I have found the prospect of introducing solids (no matter which way you choose to go) a little bit daunting.

I've done plenty of research and spoken to my GP and Paediatrician, and am on the 4 year waiting list for the RBCH's Immunology Clinic. However, in the meantime my GP has pointed me in the direction of ASCIA: http://allergy.org.au/

They have an Infant Feeding Guide which will make you feel a lot better about the prospect of introducing solids to your (possible) allergy bub AND can also get some of the biggest critics (ie. family!) off your back!!

I hope you find it helpful!

    KT :-)
