Thanks . We went last week but after lunch so it was too bad. oh and I'm in Waikiki.

DP got a job with a company that services the mines which gave him the experience he needed. He is still with a (different) contractor company but is now based permanently on one site. He is on a 2:1 roster at the moment which isn't too bad (most of the time!). I'm glad it's not any longer.

8 more sleeps for me ... Dh only left on Wednesday. I'm actually really enjoying the 2/1 roster - it works well for us.

The only problem I have is that the car invariably breaks down on the way home from dropping him off at the airport or the next day and I go 2 weeks without a car only to have it fixed in time to pick him up again! Only another 6 weeks or so of saving and we will have enough of a deposit to buy something reliable ...

Luckily nearly everything I need is within walking distance and we have a bus stop not too far from our house!

Omg! My DH will be home on Saturday! He's been in America on a 3 month tour (he's a musician).
Im so excited I couldn't sleep!
We have a 7 year old, 7 month old and I'm 17 weeks pregnant! So I am very relieved!

    The wait is agonizing!

    Just wanted to say
    DH is finally home tomorrow!
That felt like the longest shift EVER, even though it was the same as all his others.
