Default 2nd Birthday ideas for girls

My DD will be turning 2 in a couple of months and I'm trying to think of ideas for what to do for her party.
I want some sort of theme so that I can do the cake & decorations in the same theme.
She likes the Wiggles, Dora, Giggle & Hoot. She loves books, flowers, playing with her tea set.
I'm stuck on what to do, it will be at our house.
    Any ideas?

    How about a garden theme?
Cupcakes with fondant grass or chocolate "dirt", decorate milk arrowroot biscuits with red icing and chocolate drops to look like lady beetles, butterfly cakes, honey joys, maybe a little watering can as a party favour? sandwiches cut into flower shapes? Make paper doll chains but with flowers instead of dolls (does that make sense?) and your DD can help you colour them for decorations? Make bunting with flowery quilter's fabric?

The TV show ones will probably be easy as you can buy plates, decorations, pinatas etc quite easily, so it depends whether you would prefer that or would rather do stuff yourself

Ooo thank you! I like the sound of the garden party.
Would much prefer to do something like this instead of the tv show themed ones.

    You are welcome
There's a website - Pink Frosting - that has beautiful decorations etc for a "garden" theme. I was googling after I read this thread.. Thinking waaaay far ahead for dd's second birthday in January lol. I've never ordered through them before though so I'm not sure of the quality or postage times etc
