    My 5 year old DS wears undies to school an when we go out.. If we are at home he just has pants on. My 4 year old dd wears undies all the time other then at bed time.

    My 2.5 yo wears undies all the time. I found when we were toilet training him he was too little to get on the toilet on his own so we had to help. So not wearing undies made no impact.
    We did however find if he had an accident the undies contained some of the pee do his shoes didn't get smelly.

    My 3 year old boy just loves being a nudie rudie!!! I don't mind at all but the rules are he must wear pants when visitors are over which he happily accepts.

    Always in undies, since he was toilet trained. In summer it's often just undies and a singlet. When he's in pants sometimes he'll ask to go to the loo after he's already peed a drop or two in his undies, especially if he's got friends over or he's really immersed in some new toy :-) then at least I need to only change his undies which we have loads of, not the pants which we don't have as many of.
