LOL, We concieved DS two years ago at schoolies in Bryon Bay! We were like hells yeah! (We were toolies of course!) When we found out we wondered how many other babies had been concieved at schoolies?!! It was a fun week, we would watch all theses kids walking the beach during the day, pushing cartons of beer up the street in overloaded shopping carts, watching the new cupples splashing in the sea. Then at night we would retire to the back of our ute and baby dance the night away.

I really wanted to have just one shot this month so if we did concieve our kids would have similar birthdays. I tried so hard to talk DH into it but he wouldn't. not even one. I just don't get it. I mean he says he would like DS to have a sibling but nows not the right time. He dosn't understand things arn't the same as 2 years ago. I'm older, I have this thyriod thing, Its hard to get time to DTD at anytime let alone a few times at the right time. Basically it is going to be hard this time round. It took 6months last time how long will it take this time! So cranky at him.

I am currently about 11 DPO after an extremely long shot chance. (DTD twice on one night, first with condom, second without but pulled out) No symptoms.

DH does not understand and says I should just be happy but Ive been trying to explain to him being utd is not just a want, it is an innate feeling that I just have to have! which in turn makes me totally out of control of my feelings.
I had a big cry to him (there are just so many pregnant people around me. Sister due July, and 4 close friends all due Jan, Feb and Mar) He was really great and just hugged me, but he just cant understand why I feel this way.

Sorry, I just needed to vent to others that may understand how I feel!
I feel better today, but Friday night was a little tough
I came on here to say the same thing LOL my brother's gf is 5 weeks preggers, I found out on Sunday. I was devo!!!! I have waited so long and I am getting over the waiting, we are in a great position to do it but the husband wants to wait for another year so we will have less stress in relation to running our businesss AND having a baby. My bro and his gf are in a very average position financially, they are not engaged or married, they are renting and both work night shift sooooooo I am in need of a vent too!!! Its also the first grandchild on my side so its kinda extra special to be the first.

I am feeling better about it today vs Sunday but it still sucks, although its a baby being born which will be amazing so I will get over it. It will be like a trial run before I have my own

Disney it sounds like you had an amazing holiday, 4 weeks and I will be over there, cant wait! How was Disneyland??

The roll call for me can be amended to August please, that gives me plenty of time to work on the husband to see if I can change his mind about waiting a whole year!! hehe

Good luck to all those who are trying now, I cannot wait to see the positive results appearing over the coming months

oh you will have such a good time!! Disneyland was awesome as always! The crowds were insane! That was my 5th trip to Disneyland and we always travel outside of peak times so it was kinda cool to see what Disney insanity looks like! We used to complain when we had to wait 20 minutes and the people who work there are like this is nothing you've never seen disney insanity! We had a great time though, rode the new rides (carsland had to wait 2.5 hours to ride the radiator springs ride but it was totally worth it!!) in California adventure and that wa the main objective of the trip so we were happy to wait for those.
What dates will you be at Disney? Vegas was also awesome, again wasn't our first time but I swear each time we go something has changed. We also stayed at the encore so that was new for us. We normally stay at Paris. Where are you staying?

5 trips to Disneyland, you are very lucky! This is my first time. 2.5 hours wait for one ride!!!! OMG that is mental, did you take a fastpass ticket and go back at the time it said or did you have to stand in the same line for 2.5 hours??? That would do my head in!

We will fly into LA on the 26th Dec, leave for vegas on the 30th Dec & stay until 2nd Jan (We are staying in the Octavius Tower at Ceasar's Palace). We will then drive to Disneyland on the 2nd and will spend 3 days there, leaving on the 4th Jan. We are staying at the Disneyland hotel. I cannot wait!!

If November is crazy I can only imaging what it will be like in Jan, bummer!

    Girls help!!
I am going through a massive massive obsessed with having a baby time lol.
Seriously I've gotten super obsessed this past couple weeks.
Im really not looking to TTC until end of next year, all depending on money & my weight. But lately I'm budgeting like crazy to see how quickly I can achieve what we need to TTC. Positive is wanting a bubs has motivated my weight loss!
I have LOT of weight to lose & Im researching health risks & going even more crazy. Thinking once Ive lost a chunk of weight Ill go to my Dr & get Implanon out & find out really where I stand with my weight & possibly TTC.
Do you go through this? Hoping this intense craziness passes & I can get on with & enjoy life over the next year whilst we sort ourselves out!!
Sorry just had to rant there...

a little lucky a little obsessed! If a flight ever goes anywhere near LA I have to stop and go to disneyland!

You love ceasars palace, its really fun, the themeing is done well and the forum shops are really good. Miracle mile shops are pretty decent and fashion show mall is really worth a visit!! It's got a massive forever 21 and top shop! And it's soooo cheap! It will be freezing so make sure you take a good coat with you so when you go watch the bellagio fountain you don't freeze your butt off. Oh and the pirate show and TI and the volcano show at mirage are worth a visit too! Are you thinking about seeing a cirque du sole show?

The drive to and from Vegas is really interesting and you get to pass some great outlets! Barstow is worth a stop as is the primm outlets which are attached to whiskey Petes casino!

There are no fast passes on the newer rides at Disneyland the radiator springs ride (which we waited 2.5 hours for) has a fast pass (the exception to the rule) but the line for the fast passes was 1.5 hours and there was no guarantee of getting a fast pass so we opted for the regular line. I would recommend you give the fast pass line a go for radiator springs because you have time, we had no time at all!! We went during the second busiest time which was thanksgiving week. The most busiest time is Christmas Day and then it gets quieter after that. Either way you will still have the time of your life! Oh you must try the soup in a bread bowl it's delish!!! You can get it in the French quarter of disneyland or near paradise pier in California adventure park. Also take full advantage of the photopass. Get heaps of photos with them everywhere. It costs you nothing unless you buy the pictures but I personally think its worth it. We got some fantastic pictures together around the parks !! If I think of anything else ill let you now or if you have any specific questions don't hesitate to ask!! You will seriously have such an amazing time at disneyland!

I don't think baby need with year/calendar. I think it is the gift of god that everybody need right after their marriage.

Its hormonal your obsessions! It will calm down but we are all with you on this!! Nothing motivates weight loss like ttc! The best thing to do with everything is start off with small goals and then re evaluate once you reach that. It's exactly the same with trying to pass time whilst waiting for ttc. Think about what you need to do before making a baby and use those as your goal posts. So if you wanna loose 5 kgs in the next 3 months then start there. Then once you reach that, set another one for the next 3 months, so say another 5 kg then after that book dr appointment, then 3 months after that start taking vitamins (your up to 9 months into next year already, you've lost 10 kg if not more, you're off bc and you've started taking vitamins! That's exactly how I got through the last year of waiting!
