Disney when we first BD it was different, really exciting and nervous at the same time. It was way before I was due to O so it wasn't like I was going to get pregnant that time but That little thought that it could be a possibility was there, and was kind of distracting, but it was very intimate.

I am turning 29 in a few days and live in the northan tablelands of nsw in a small town near armidale. I wish I was 22!
Oh my gosh, I had no idea! It's definitely not something my friends have mentioned. I'm finding more and more they hold back on essential details... Maybe it's something more they will share when I'm actually pregnant. I suppose I'm still out of the I'm pregnant/have been pregnant club and they only discuss such things amongst themselves. Actually speaking of such club, I have recently experienced my friends speaking about something baby related and I'll enquire about what exactly it is that they are talking about and they all chuckle and just say oh you'll find out when you have a baby. DRIVES ME NUTS!

I only just recently found out you bleed for like 6 weeks or something crazy, I have no idea why but it sounds terrible!!!!??? I feel so naive!

Disney - theres a bump app for the iphone I had a peak at but they started talking about mucus plugs? Anyway I chickened out reading it - I already knew about the bleeding and pooping but mucus? I fell so naive as well but I guess we can all look forward to learning all the pregnancy details together!

Don't be put too much off by this. It's called loccia and I remember after giving birth I was cringing at the thought of going to the toilet thinking there'd be so much blood. for me it was nothing like I expected, a lot lighter than my normal AF and more of a pinky color stained CM than blood iykwim. It can last up to 6 weeks but I think to memory mine was 3 weeks.

I can't wait to see how this new pregnacy is differnt from my last. There were a few things I missed out on last time, seeing the mucus plug was one of them! I don't know what happend to mine, I was 3cm dilated a few days before I was induced but didn't notice any extra goop in the undies.

Disney I bleed for about 6 weeks, just like a light period. Cept one day about 2weeks after DS was born I felt this great big clot slide out as I was lined up for a hot chocolate with DS in a baby borjn. It was so gross.

A little story about my naiveity, at my first doctors appointment (the doctor who would be at the birth) He was filling out my yellow card and asked 'Pregnancy number?' I was like I have no idea, I didn't know I needed to get one? and Hes looked at me and said 'Is this your first pregnancy?' I went bright red. Could not believe how dumb I must have looked!

Oh I thought the mucus plug made me feel sick but a clot sliding out!! Ewww

6 weeks of a light period! Why does mother nature want to torture women like this... 4 days of period every month is bad enough but 6 weeks! Oh my gosh... Does anyone know why it happens?

I like innocent stories like that trio!! I would have reacted the same way!

I have heard that each pregnancy is like a new one! You can never predict what may or may not happen? Thats a bit exciting! Do you think you'll have a similar birth or would you change things?

    Its my birthday today!

I wouldn't change a thing about DS's birth, except how hard and fast the contractions started on the drip. Once I got used to them it was fine though. I really want the same midwife again, she was fantastic!
