    Great, thanks everyone.

    I always have sandwich fillings & bread. I guess I wanted to make sure there was nothing more elaborate expected of me without knowing it!

    DS approved snacks will already be provided for her (allergies), but leaving a small money jar for her coffees is a great idea, thanks. Encourages her to get out with DS for some fresh air

    When I was nannying I took my own, like you would any job. However the family would always leave enough food for me to eat too. She always left a note on the fridge with what was for the boys to eat and to help myself.
    Leaving $5 or so on the bench was awesome too, I used to take the boys out on the train and we could get a coffee (babychino). We had an excellent relationship though, so it was all very flex and casual. Good luck

    I always bring my own but they always say help yourself, sometimes they leave me a sandwich they made for me etc which is lovely
