Default **SPIN OFF** What's the rudest thing ever done to you that left you lost for words??

Ok, so in honour of another thread it got me thinking about the rudest thing you've ever had happen to you that actually rendered you speechless so apart from the McDonalds story with my ex BFF in that thread here is mine.

When I worked in hospitality as VIP host I always had to look good so hair and make up was always immaculate. One night I had this guy eyeballing me and I was trying my hardest to avoid him because he was making me really uncomfortable. Anywho, eventually he came up behind me, grabbed my a$$ and said, "Hey, fancy a r00t?" I swear my chin dropped to the floor and I was rendered absolutely speechless . He then squeezed my a$$ again and said, "Aww come on babe, you look like you'd enjoy a ride on the pony". At this point I actually burst into tears. Uhmm *ahem* rude much??

Probably when I was at work and a woman came in for a meeting. The person she was meeting with was running late so I [kindly, or so I thought] made her a coffee and kept her company.

She asked what else I do apart from work here and I said I'm a mum. She then started prying into how old he is and where he goes during the day and proceeded to carry on about how much children "suffer" when their mums work.

    What a freaking cow.

Mine was a few months ago. I was shopping in Coles an the 2 kids were in the trolly making some weird game up and singing. Thy wernt overly loud an they were making a lot of people giggle at them because they were happy and being well behaved. We stopped in the baking isle an so lady says to her self loud enough for me to her... "control your *** children"!!!!!! I the. Replied "exscuse me? They arnt bothering anyone so shut ur damn mouth" I then stormed off to the cleaning isle (had to go their anyway) an started crying. I thought they were good kids. A lady asked if I was ok I said yes. I then called DP saying I'm a horrible mum.

The day my partner died someone said to me 'Don't worry, you are young, you will find someone else'. What can you really say to that.

And just before the funeral, an acquaintance of ours gave me a bolt from a truck with his nickname (spelled wrong) engraved on it. As he had died after coming off his motorbike and hitting a truck, I do believe that was pretty poor form.

I'll leave it there for now but there are a ton more.

Well I worked in aged care for six years so I'm sure I have plenty of stories.. old age, often chronic pain, serious illness, losing independence etc can bring out the absolute worst in some people. I would say the rudest thing that ever happened to me was a man who I was showering asked me to massage his .. parts.. there was nothing wrong with his hands lol so I told him sorry mate, not in my job description.. at which point he told me it was worth a try since I looked like a ***** and I wasn't married.. then proceeded to play with himself in front of me. And no.. he had no cognitive impairment. I found out later he was a sex offender.

Oh I also looked after many older ladies who were disgusted that I had young children and one lady who was so bad I left crying. She told me het grand daughter was pregnant and broke.. then went on to say how it was tragic that she is having a baby and will have to go to work. How there are so many women who would love to have her baby and how if a woman can't stay at home with her children she should give them away etc.. really hurt me because she knew damn well I had a toddler and I was heavily pregnant.. and there I was at 30 + weeks pregnant leaning over my big belly to move and dress and wash her husband..

That is absolutely awful! I admit I am around grieving people sometimes through work and if I don't know what to say, I just don't bl00dy well say anything. I offer them a number for a counsellor and tell them I'm so sorry. None of this "chin up" nonsense.

I just posted this elsewhere but crazy/rude..

MIL buys her daughter's dog christmas and easter presents cos she doesnt have kids of her own, yet doesnt buy anything for ours cos we have kids. Effectively comparing our kids to an untrained, disobedient dog. DD2 is a baby, DD1 has awesome manners and is all in all a good kid, our dog even hs manners, who we spent a LOT of money on when she got really sick as we said she is part of the family and why wouldnt we. But our dog doesnt need a present cos she is just a dog. like SIL dog isnt just a dog!!!

    another one..
Someone telling me that special needs kids shouldnt be in main****** school and DD1 shouldnt play with them

    oh and another..
having had recent storms and our shed blowing over th neighbours fence, them dismantling it before we had the chance to get photo's of it in ther yard or let the insurance company know so we could get advice o what to do.
