hey I went to a birthday party on the weekend for a 3 year old and he got the big train table with everything and so much stuff but he loved the dirty dinosaurs .You pull them in the bath and clean the dirt off them when they dry the dirt comes back . All the kids loved them . from toy r us .

They sound Excellent for bath time! Will have to go to toys r us this weekend my DS would love them for his 2nd bday. Thanks

I second the ikea toy kitchen, its unisex and the kids spend hours playing with this sort of stuff. We have one and boys and girls alike gravitate to it.

I agree with Thomas the Tank trains, balance bike, or his own 3 wheel scooter.

Is he into Fireman Sam or Octonaughts?? Target and Big w in their catalogue have released these in toys...

You can also never go wrong with books, duplo etc
