Nemmi, did you wash your Issy bear inserts in hot a few times before using it? I have found that they take quite a few washes to get to full absorbency. Mine last easy 3 hours for day and 11 at night.
Back to the topic. I have my little ripple as stash fillers and they work well for me. Mine have had a lot of use over about a year and the PUL is delaminating on most of them now but they still don't leak. I wouldn't use them with just the one microfibre insert though. I add bamboo or another two layer microfibre insert. They are good value for money IMO to bulk out the stash and also let DS loose in them in summer wearing just a nappy when I don't want my good ones wrecked.

I love my cheap Ebay nappies and I think they are very cute im not sure why some people say otherwise I am also not sure why people feel the need to leave it 4hrs without a change?
My sister paid a lot of $ her first time around and has since donated them opting for the cheaper ones that in her opinion are better.
Also I have noticed some people selling MCNs especially via facebook that are the cheap ones they have imported and put their own label on them, you can get them via Ali express for around 90c a unit but the min order 300 unitd

I think the style does not suit him, too bulky around the thighs.

He can get 2/3 ish hours out of chinese cheapies before he leaks but they only have a microfiber insert, pull outer.

I've tries hot washes, strip wash etc nothing worked for it, shame cos its a lovely nappy.

As a cloth nappy semi expert i'll say i'm pretty impressed with my ebay cheapies so far. 10 for $38 posted.
The insert seems thick enough; as bubs gets older it will need to be doubled though. Workmanship etc pretty good considering the price. I won't get to really try them until november, but untried, i'm happy!
