I was wondering if anyone had started a thread about this.
It is tragic! Those poor girls! I am glad they are well away from the community as it is just buzzing with "talk" about the case.
Seems in this area everyone knows everyone and they all know something about it. Well it appears that way
So so sad!

I honestly thought he would be charged but given the info released I would not say he is guilty. People who live close may know more but for me I just do not feel he is.
He does not stand a chance though as people want someone charged and he is the best fit. "everything" fits. People have already made up their minds on his guilt the moment the story was aired with the media blow out about him.

If it's very painful for you to criticize your friends -- you're safe in doing it. But if you take the slightest pleasure in it, that's the time to hold your tongue.
I think it was a matter of time until police gathered enough evidence. His story was a little odd, her family has said it was not like her to wander through the bush by herself at night. I hope the family can find some closure, her poor kids and parents.
Relationships are like garage sales. From a distance they look interesting, but up close it's just a bunch of crap you don't need.
It's sad so often it is the husband...but also kind of a relief it's not some random murder..
Guilty or not, my concern is that this man has no chance of a fair trial due to the way the media has handled reporting on this case from the beginning. For example...http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/o...-1226347438707
Everyone involved will be biased (they couldn't possibly use a jury). At the end of the day, Alison's family deserve for justice to be served accurately and appropriately, and this kind of media coverage makes this very difficult.
