Yep me too! I had a tubal ligation after the birth of DD. I also was 100% certain that we were not going to have any more babies as I am getting older and it took 2 years of TTCing to get DD.

But I too am sad that I will never ever be pregnant again and have another bubs. Even tho I dont want to have another and the family is complete its just that now there is no option. Its done now and no turning back.

As for recovery...doesnt feel any different. I am BFing so I dont know if/when AF will return and if it will be the same as normal but it is nice to not worry about contraception and just DTD when we feel like it

yep I did!!! during my last csection 6 weeks ago!! took an extra 5 minutes..and I have had no complications at all..recovery was the same as when I had my other csections. If your sure you dont want any more pregnancies I would recommend it!!

I don't want to be rude in any way and you do not need to answer if you do not want to BUT can I ask the age of the ladies that have had it done??
I had my 4th child 4 months ago via c section and they wouldn't in anyway do it for me!! They said I was too young !! My response I'm also too young to have 4 children :/ go figure

For anyone considering it do not take this decision lightly - Google Post tubal ligation syndrome. I have it and my life has been HELL for the past 2 years. I wish someone had told me about it and what to expect but noone ever did. I am happy for people to PM me but please please think very carefully before you make this decision
