I thought they did a raincheck if they ran out in store?

Awesome, I never put anything on layby, generally just buy it and store it around here but might try it out this year. Can Always get those things for the boys for christmas and get them something else for their bdays.
It's a bit of a pain that they do the sales during the school holidays.

Smart marketing. Force the parents to take the kids along so that they nag and nag for all sorts of toys and the poor parents just give in to get some peace and quiet

What does everyone think about the huge wooden play set, it's the $800 one? I was thinking i might layby it but is there any around that aren't so expensive? Or is it worth it?

The target ones are $2300 and $3000 ish. I'd say the $800 is cheap lol. I like the look of it too but a bit out of reach unfortunately.

The ridgewood? With the 2 swings the double swing, wave slide, cubby house and awning/bar/2 seat thing? Don't bother we or it last year and it isnt the best quality was really hard to build due to the awful instructions and they stuffed the delivery up twice.

Those who are looking at wooden swing/slide/cubby sets, I found this website some time ago and they have some great sets for really good prices.

At 7 & 8 my kids r pretty over all the "toys". So I won't be getting anything.

But flicking through the target catalogue I notice in the baby section, fisher price are selling iPad and iPod cases, advertised as being "dribble proof"

    Seriously wtf?

Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy?
Do people actually give little tots iPads and iPods?
