At daycare they wait until a child has had 3 runny poos in a row before sending them home. That is unless they have had a few kids with the same thing and then they send them home after one.

Just wondering cause yesterday and today bub has had quite a few runny poos usually straight after her bottle she has been on this formula since she was a week old and we haven't had a problem.
She seems happy and content only issue is a really runny poo after her bottle started yesterday

How old is she? Could it be teething? My DS can have days of runny poos. right before he gets a new tooth. If she is still drinking/eating and doesn't seem bothered or has a temp, it should be ok. Just keep an eye on her and if it's still happening in the next day or two, might be worth taking her to the doctors, just to be sure.

According to my maternal child health nurse, babies can start teething from about three months, this is when my DS started, got his first tooth at 4 1/2 months. Usually teething poos have a sort of acidic smell to them (sorry TMI).

Also should have said when babies get dehydrated their fontanelle usually becomes quite sunken in. If this has happened I would go see a doctor as soon as you can.

Are the poo's frothy cause that can indicate lactosse intolerance mate, Also try giving her half strength bottles to see if that clears it up. If she still like that tonight I would get her seen by someone.

No mate sometimes it takes a little while for a child to develop an intolerance to a product, My dd for example was on s26 newborn for about 5 months then started to get really runny frothy poos, We got her checked and tested and she had lactossse intolerance so we switched her to the lactosse free formula
