    aww, so many people getting it on Wednesday! When are your regular paydays? I think this is a good thing, especially how from next year there willbe a payment at the start of the school year. That will help so much with uniforms/books. Our kids uniforms are so exxy, the girls dress in nearly $60 and the hat is $40something.

    What exactly does it show up as? Because I can't seem to see mine , I get part a , does it show up as part of your regular payment or as something different.

    Mine is showing up for Wednesday my regular pay day is today 18th, then not again till 2nd July.

    My regular payday is Tuesday. So I get paid the day before.

    On mine it just said your last payment was $xxx (which is what im getting on Tuesday my regular pay) and then your next payment is $409 due on wednesday (the school payment)

    I just rang and was told it was income tested so a lot of people won't be getting the full amount.... We are getting bugger all

    Lil off topic but does anyone know if you can still claim at tax time? I'm a student myself and was planning to put in a claim for me as well, this seems to only be for primary and secondary students though isn't it?

    As a tertiary student you should get a grand a semester.... well DH is at uni and he does. I think mid-end of July is the next installment. It's automatic. Not sure if it's for TAFE too....

    Sadly it doesn't go far when DH's IT textbooks are $90 a pop
