    Default Packet mix cakes/desserts

What are your favourites? I am slack and useless at baking, but sometimes I like to have cake. I've had a couple of good packet mixes (i think one was betty crocker devil food?) And tonight a fairly big fail, white wings cheesecake (tastes kinda marshmellow-y)
    What are some good ones?

Betty crocker is fairly hard to stuff up! Dd and I made one the other night and added way too much oil by accident and it still turned out ok. Just a few thousand more kj's!!!

I then cut the packet of frosting at both ends and I was wondering why it was going everywhere!!!!! Oh dear!!!

I swear that is the mix - I've made it before and it tasted like that - nothing like a cheesecake should taste. will never buy it again. Even if everyone else liked it.

as PP have stated Greens is good

    Seconded! These are a-maz-ing!

I made these for a morning tea at work and had everyone asking me for the recipe (I then had to frantically google a similar made from scratch recipe to give to them!)
