Hahaha, DS have a blue and white striped onesie that reminds me of Tony every time. I might search out a red version! 😄

    Yep. This too. 😊

I can't believe I've never seen this thread before. I love this movie. I have the soundtrack on my phone & we had "As The World Falls Down" on our wedding soundtrack. I didn't have the Sarah dress sadly. 😢

My friend and I once had a drunken argument with our DHs about Jareth's hairstyle. Mullet or not? One of the reasons we're friends is our mutual love of this movie (& The Dark Crystal).

Both Jareth and Toby are on my baby name list. ☺

Ah how old is you DS?
I watched it with mine when he was about 3, it went right over his head and he got bored before the end but he's almost 6 now so I'll give it another go.
    Actually, that reminds me.
There's 11 years between me and my sister and she swears that Jareth's man tights are the source of all her childhood nightmares!

Also, I remember going in to buy the DVD in a big music and DVD store here and the girl behind the counter had never heard of it. I had to spell the name out for her and everything?
I just felt so sorry for the poor sheltered child

I see most of you imagined yourselves in the dress.
It got me thinking here this morning,
The dress never made an impression on me at all.
(Oh my god, I can hear the collective screams from here hahahaha)
I blame my mother for stuffing me into frilly things since I was born, as soon as I could dress myself I wore practical clothes!
I loved her jeans and shirt rig out though...
Oh and I did love the big hair with the dress, so not completely non-girly

Wanna know what I did yesterday...
I got good news so to celebrate I bought the little canvas!
    ARGH!
    DH will go mental

I watched it with my girls when they were 4&5. The older didn't take to it really but the younger became obsessed with it for months, watched it over& over, and all my Bowie cd's got a good workout which suited me just fine ha ha
