I realised as soon as I saw the email come through with the day's replies lmao! When you texted, I thought maybe you'd just seen one of my posts since that line is on there!

I'm only a brand newbie to this site (and thread), so very sorry at coming in so late!
Up until my teenage years, I always cried at the end - "...should you need us...?" I wanted special friends like that! (Maybe I still do!)

Me too I love this movie so much , I remember taping all the songs on a cassette player on microphone from the TV .... You could hear my mum vacuuming in another room but I didn't care... I just wanted to be able to sing out loud " your eyes can be so cruel " ...... Ahhh I love David Bowie in this .....

My gosh I thought this was code for some fertility or parenting discussion. I want to have a room full of friends led by Ludo, a striped red onesey baby and someone singing "dance baby dance" at me while twirling balls in his hand. Ok, I'll stop.

So what's everyone favorite part of the movie ? As a kid my favorite bit was when sir Lancelot ordered ambrosia to stop hiding and go over the stones in the bog of eternal stench... Flarp, blurp,squeesh,flarp,blurrrrppphhh......

I do think that without David Bowie and his sexy voice and blue and brown eyes it wouldn't have been as wonderful ....... Imagine his generation of singers , imagine someone like sting as Jared .... I love sting but it would never of been so magical .
