Still waiting on DP to get home, but apart from lots of wind and rain we're still unscathed....just got a slightly spooked pooch... And just remembered I still have washing on the line, wonder how much of it will be there in the morning?! :O

It's completely dropped off here. Just some decent wind gusts. Friend in southern river lost his fence. I've got no damage in harrisdale. Another front coming through around midnight... Hope everyone is ok

Sideways heavy rain and high winds here in Port Kennedy. Thankfully, we sustained no damage beyond some shredded flyscreens and a sliding door off it's rollers on Sunday so I'm hoping it doesn't get any worse overnight.

DH is due to fly home tomorrow ... I hope he still can.

Did I sleep through the worst of it? From what I've read it was a bot rough the lot that just came through here just then woke us all up, dh over his ear plugs and DD over her fairly loud white noise (she didn't need the running water!)

Now its like someone flicked the off switch if I dare speak too soon...

Ive just got home from work and it's about 1.30am. It's very very windy outside with only a little but of rain. Doesn't sound like its easing much. I'm NOR near balcatta. Don't know how much sleep I'll get tonight! Hope everyone stays safe and there isn't too much damage!

The wind here is amazing! I'm surprised we still have power, to be honest. There are occasional blasts of rain in the wind but not too much (as I type we just got a good but short downpour!).

I hope the trampoline is still there in the morning - DD only got it for her birthday in March and the kids love it ...

We're in a 2 storey house with all of our bedrooms upstairs. The wind coming through previously unknown gaps is freezing! There are only single storey houses around us and we're quite close to the beach (3 houses and a golf course away) so we don't have a lot of protection. That said, we seem to be fareing extremely well ...
