My levels were 22 a few months back and I've been taking 2-3000iu since. How much is safe? Should this be re-tested?
Are you going to see an Obstetrician, or will your GP manage your antenatal care? I suggest finding a good Obstetrician, and if you do, you will need a referral from your GP. The Obstetrician will organise a panel of antenatal blood tests, which will include Vit D levels. He/She will then advise you re: the appropriate supplement for you. They will then arrange your 12-week scan which assesses risk of Down's syndrome, Neural Tube Defects, etc. You should definitely continue the folic acid.
As for bhCG levels; they are not important unless there is concern re: a threatened miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Otherwise they are essentially useless. They DO NOT correlate with number of weeks pregnant.
    Does this help? J.

Everyone has gone quiet...I am feeling unloved!
I am 8DPO? and will probably test on the 31st. My sister is 32 weeks, and it is making me very clucky for my second bub! My little boy is 2 years old, and I desperately want to give him a brother/sister, and complete my family.

J37 - join us in this thread. You only move on when you get your BFP

    http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...!!!!!!!/page36

These threads can be a real downer if you are a tester at the end of the month as most people move onto the next month and you are left on your own.

Still here J37.... have my follow up Dr apt tomorrow so excited about that. I had the full screening of bloods done. Do you think there is any way she will be able to tell me how far along I am???? or will I have to wait to have dating scan done?

I'm still here too J37. My body is getting weirder by the day.
So...sorry if tmi but...dtd last nite, AF was 2 days late. After dtd had slight bleeding bright red watery blood. That was all the blood. Today a little watery blood when wiped but apart from that only slight brown discharge. Walked into butcher today..waiting to pay and thought I was going to vomit all of a sudden. Was nauseous for half hr after. Boobs are bit sore but nothing major. Tests are still bfn.
What the hell is going on with my body !!!???? Any ideas GREATLY appreciated

Well keep your head up mumofprincess. I didn't get me BFP until AF was 2 weeks late and I had barely any symptoms.
