I'm out Af arrived this morning 6 days early. Well at least this cycle wasn't as long. Off to August I think. I think I might give it a shot now that Af is here early I shouldn't have the same due date if I get pregnant in August. Good luck to all of those still waiting to test.

I'm out for July, AF arrived this morning

Not really a surprise this cycle, I never had that "feeling." It was only our first month of trying.

I'm very happy I'm back to a perfect 28-day cycle though! It was so normal that it resembled something you'd find in a Year 7 science book

Good luck to everyone for the last few days this month!

PS: See you in the August thread shelby

Sorry to hear that but again omg our body's must be synced! Ill probably skip august and wait until September.

Just a question cause I'm so confused I did opks all this month and got a positive on cd 23 and 24 and then 9 days later I got Af, luteal phase can't be that short, what could of happened? My body is confusing me? From 37 day cycle last month that means I have gone down to a 32 day cycle this month.

When we started ttc #3 he said if we aren't preg by this chrismas (2012) we will re-look at things & see how we are feeling as to keep trying or if we are really happy where things are. but thing is if we stop trying im pretty sure we will never try again later on as i pretty much twisted DH arm for a #3 & he doesnt like bigger age gaps.

    Maybe we are in sync!

I have no idea what may have happened with your cycle - sorry! Surely its too early for a miscarriage?

    J37maybe you can help.
So for those of us who got a BFP what does it actually mean to look after ourselves. I work in a tough job, we often go hours without much of a break. For example today I had porridge at home 8am, yoghurt and orange a bit later but no lunch til 3pm. Will this lifestyle be harmful? Should I talk to work etc, or not worry and continue as normal?

It really means: keep well-hydrated, eat healthy foods (which you are), avoid alcohol, do not smoke, avoid medications (other than those your OBGYN or GP prescribes, but paracetamol is fine), take folic acid, see your OBGYN on a regular basis, ensure you have sufficient calcium and iron (dairy, red meat), avoid heavy lifting, etc. Just the obvious sensible things really. When the morning sickness kicks in, focus on small, frequent meals. You often get cravings for the nutrients you need, eg. red meat. But, importantly, find a good Obstetrician and don't be afraid to ask questions. Avoid Dr Google!!
I am happy to answer any questions, either privately or via this thread.

J37 - seeing as you are so wise

Can you explain to me why a fertile young couple with no medical issues would take months to fall pg? I can't seem to understand why even doing everything right and being healthy and fertile there is still only a 20-30% chance of conceiving?
