If you got a +ve OPK this morning, then you are likely to ovulate within 24-36 hours. So, given that once you do ovulate, the egg survives for 12 hours, you are well-placed to conceive if you have sex tomorrow (Tuesday) night. Jump on him when he walks through the door! But seriously, that timing sounds very promising.

Thank you! I got my +opk yesterday at 2pm, my ovaries area has been making small movements all this morning. I haven't got my big stabbing pains in my ovaries yet. DH will get home at around 5pm today, so depending on DS I'll try and jump on him straight away. Ekk I hope I haven't Oed yet. It's very nerve racking!!!

    hi all

I'm quite upset and was wondering if you could offer your advices...

My OPK became positive sometime between 3 and 7pm last night. We dtd everyday from Thursday until last night.
But since I know O is imminent I thought we should try and dtd this morning again to make sure we give our best shot at catching that egg.

Did not happen and I am a little upset, I feel as if we have missed that one time where we would have catch little eggie.

Do you think tonight is too late? I know it can't hurt to try but realistically, might be too late right?

    Thanks
    Lili

If you dtd last night I'm sure you didn't miss the egg by not dtd this morning, sperm can live for 48 hours I believe.

    Maybe just dtd tonight instead.

If you read my posts I'm kinda the same I Oed yesterday but haven't had sex since Thursday as DH is away until tonight when we get our first chance. People keep saying I have a good chance so I think you have a great chance! You have done everything right, and DH sperm will be nice and strong for dtd tonight since you have let it 'build up'.

I thought sperm could live up to 5 days inside!?

    Good luck!!!
